CREATIVE JOURNEY THROUGH ALZHEIMER’S
Alzheimer’s Disease is a journey, but it is definitely not creative. However, we are creative people who were looking for a way to deal with Alzheimer’s . This was made more complicated by the fact that our family was spread across the Atlantic ocean. From the words of a poem written by my mother an idea sparked back in 2019. In Spring of 2024 this idea has now become a reality. Our book shows through the power of writing, art and always being creative in our approach of dealing with Alzheimer’s how our family’s journey into this world went. This site is all about our book which we hope will help anyone going through their own alzheimer’s journey. We will use this site to continue to help others and ourselves stay strong. We will showcase some of the creative strategies we used to have fun and continue to make memories with our loving father, husband and grandad.
